When Cameras Fail Me
December 13th, 2009
The Yashica fx-3 super loves failing all the time. Especially when i’m shooting in nicer-than-most-places.
I do get a decent frame or two though. Out of ~36.
It failed me in –

Somewhere between Dehradun and Mussouri,
At the Golden Temple,
and other places, Bombay, Chennai, Mysore, Goa…
I’m NOT digging…

The Fuel Great Indian Rock Festival 2008 (Mumbai) : Day2
November 4th, 2008
So, like I promised, photos from day 2…
Day 2 featured -
SOMETHING RELEVANT (MUMBAI)
RAINBOW BRIDGE (CHENNAI)
THEM CLONES (DELHI)
BHAYANAK MAUT (MUMBAI)
SATYRICON (NORWAY)
—
Of course, I was most excited to be able to see Satyricon and Bhayanak Maut, and they DID NOT disappoint.
First up were Something Relevant, not bad at all… with a line-up featuring -Keyboards, Drums, Bass, Guitar AND Alto Saxophone, Percussion and Bansuri, nylon string guitar, looked like they had fun on stage.
Of course, the crowds are always brimming with the mett0l \m/, faggets, so they didn’t really get a great reception.

—
Next up were Rainbow Bridge from chennai. They took the stage to major heckling and Boo’s from the faux-mett0l crowd. AND THEN took a 20 minute soundcheck. They started off not-so-well in the beginning, but then managed to belt out a few good songs.
—
Next up were Them Clones, who I couldn’t shoot since I went out for a bite to eat.
Bhayanak Mauth took the stage next -

—
Finally, our friendly neighbourhood Black Metallers, Satyricon take the stage….
Seeing Satyr & Frost live was freaking brilliant… Easily one of the best performances i’ve been to.
-
The special Satyricon mic -

Final shot of Satyr / Rajasthani Busker I chanced upon in the Andheri-CST 10:37pm slow local.

Thats about it, enjoy!
